In their own words, UUMS students share gratitude for the teachers and mentors who walked with them on the journey to ministry.
Rev. Sandra Campbell
Your willingness to welcome me as a student from Nigeria opened the door for me and other African students to study through UUMS. I am being ordained as a Unity Minister because that door was opened. I am deeply grateful.
— E.B.N.
Rev. David Adams
Thank you for guiding us through Credo with such depth, humility, and spiritual clarity. Your classes helped me uncover not only what I believe, but who I am becoming. I will carry the soulwork you awakened in me throughout my ministry and life.
— A.D.
Rev. Eric Donaldson
Your teaching empowered me to trust my own spiritual voice and strengthened my ability to interpret Truth through a metaphysical lens. Because of your guidance, I see more clearly and speak from a place deeply rooted in Spirit.

Rev. Karen Saunders
Your teaching of the History of the African American Church brought both clarity and personal transformation. The course helped reconnect me with family, heritage, and a deeper understanding of my spiritual journey.

The Prayer class was one of my first classes at UUMS and became the perfect beginning to my spiritual journey. What began as a class grew into a spiritual community that continues to pray, support, and bless one another.

You are a compassionate teacher and mentor who truly wanted to see me complete the journey. When I struggled to keep up, you encouraged me to take the time I needed and helped make resources available so I could continue.

I have enjoyed every Bible History class I have taken with you. Your passion for scripture created a space where I could expand beyond what I had been taught, think more deeply, and personally explore the metaphysical meaning within scripture.

Rev. Nickie Golden
Your classes on self-care, self-awareness, and homiletics helped me grow as both a minister and a whole person. You reminded me that my voice, my truth, and my well-being matter. Your insights continue to guide my ministry and teaching.

Your patient, joyful, and clear teaching made the foundations of metaphysics understandable and accessible. You gave me the confidence to embrace metaphysical insight for myself, and that made a lasting difference in my journey.
